Regional industry growth higher than global average

Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME) will return in 2020 offering exhibitors unrivalled access to the region’s industry decision makers. The two-day event, co-located with MRO Middle East, has a well deserved reputation as the place where the aircraft interiors market sees business done.

Airline fleet growth in the region is predicted to be 4.9% to 2028, according to Boeing’s Current Market Outlook, which predicts a global growth rate of 3.5%. As the region’s average aircraft order value is $220million to 2028, again larger than then the global average of $150million, it’s no surprise that the interiors market in the region represents a larger percentage of global demand.

The only dedicated aircraft interiors event in the region, the 2019 edition of AIME and MRO Middle East attracted 330 exhibitors and 542 representatives of airlines from the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Half of all the 5000 event attendees were VP level or above, with 17% representing the C-suite.

Shobit Srivastava , CEO of Air One Technic, said of AIME 2019 “The most successful part of
AIME 2019 was the exposure to new technology and the sharing of business potential in India.” These sentiments were echoed by Nazir Asif Hussain, Airport Services Manager, Yemenia - Yemen Airways who stated, “During MRO & AIME 2019, I came across new inflight products, layout solutions and new generation modules which will help us provide
our airline customers with the best on board experience.”

Caryn McConnachie, Aerospace Director of organisers Tarsus F&E LLC Middle East, said “As the Middle East’s only aircraft interiors event, we consistently hear from exhibitors that the dedicated nature of the show gives them access to buyers and decision makers that they are unable to meet at other events.” She continues, “It’s fantastic to see the amount of business done at AIME each year and the large number of airline buyers who come to interact with  exhibitors.”

AIME and MRO Middle East will take place 25-26 February 2020 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). To find out more or to book your space, visit www.aime.aero.
